Quantity surveyors specialising in tax depreciation for investment properties, new construction, renovations, business premises, tenancy fit-outs and business plant assets. We give 40 year diminishing value and prime cost schedules and apportion plant. low-value pool and capital works into the cost of the interest of the asset. We list current effective lives for each plant asset in our reports. We depreciate all investment property plant from installation date ready to use and tabulate all plant depreciation remaining for the new investor from settlement date as according to ATO law. All our prices include a full inspection of the property.

With our knowledge of ATO law we can advise on the type of 'excluded entities' which can still claim depreciation on 2nd hand plant assets for residential rental properties.

We also depreciate business plant assets from installation date ready to use and provide a yearly tracking schedule to keep track of yearly depreciation for each plant asset as described and identified by their serial/chassis number. This allows easy balancing adjustments to be made on disposal of the asset by allowing the holder of the asset to calculate the closing adjustable value of the asset at disposal date.
